Discover how traditional textile techniques take new form in fine metal jewelry.
I first discovered textile techniques in metal while studying art. One afternoon in the metals department, I came across a few books that mentioned knitting, crocheting, and weaving with fine wire — and I was immediately hooked (pun intended). Crochet, especially, felt like sculpture: loops building form, structure emerging from rhythm and patience.
I want to share my love for this wonderful technique and the meditative process behind it — how repetition becomes form, and precision becomes beauty. Through my tutorials, I invite others to experience the balance of control and flow that working with fine wire reveals.
